Make a Difference. Every Day.

We welcome a specialist physician for a shared position at the Adult Psychiatry Clinic for Gender Identity (KIM) in Malmö and the Adult Psychiatry Clinic for ADHD in Lund. With us, you have a unique opportunity to shape psychiatric care together with our employees and managers.

The Gender Identity Clinic (KIM) receives applicants from all over Sweden with suspected gender dysphoria who wish to undergo gender-affirming treatment. Our team consists of specialist physicians, psychologists, social workers, and medical secretaries. The clinic is well-established with clear routines and care processes, as well as close collaboration with other national units.

Region Skåne, in collaboration with Region Östergötland, provides national highly specialized care (NVH) in the field of gender dysphoria. The task of providing national highly specialized care involves both requirements and opportunities to be at the forefront of knowledge, maintain high quality in care, and work based on national knowledge support. We share premises and have a common unit manager with the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic for Gender Identity in Malmö.

The Adult Psychiatry Clinic for ADHD in Lund is tasked with treating adult patients with ADHD diagnoses. The team consists of physicians, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, medical secretaries, and rehabilitation coordinators. Our work is based on the standardized care process for the NDD group (neurodevelopmental disorders) decided by Region Skåne. This means that interventions are based on the principle of "stepped care." The multimodal interventions require collaboration across professional boundaries and cooperation with other care institutions. Examples of this include our well-established collaboration with the Addiction Clinic and regular collaboration meetings with general psychiatric clinics and the Regional Habilitation.

In addition to good work for patients, there is also ongoing work for cohesion and well-being in the workplace. We also regularly offer internal training sessions, both in a cross-functional and unit-specific context, as well as regional training. At our clinic, we are caring, driven, and we care about each other's work environment.
